Laura Pittson

Laura Pittson first arrived in Peterborough when she landed the Hereward FM Breakfast
Show in 1999. After four years of fun, she headed off to present Drivetime for Classic Gold,
then the Lunchtime National Network Show.

After a year, Tony Blackburn joined Classic Gold, and Laura was invited to join Tony Blackburn to host the National Breakfast Show as a co-presenter for another 4 years. As well as in studio, Laura Pittson and Tony Blackburn broadcasted all over the world. Australia, Hong Kong, St Lucia, Lapland, and a few cruises to boot.

When Classic Gold closed, Laura went to BBC Oxford and presented lunchtimes,
after which she presented Breakfast at Mercury FM. She has also presented on Radio
Caroline, LBC, Ten-17, Merlin Network One and BBC Three Counties Radio.

Her TV credits include The Devil’s Dinner Party on Sky TV (Laura won), Britain’s Top Dog with
Liza Tarbuck (Laura had no chance) and a Price of Fish (Laura didn’t win).

Laura is a dog and horse lover. She lives with her husband and daughter surrounded by
furry friends.

Formerly a weekly columnist for the Peterborough Evening Telegraph, a Cresset Pantomine
performer and a monthly columnist for Your Dog Magazine, Laura has joined the team at Boomerang Radio and wants to hear from all her old Peterborough friends and
listeners and make some more along the way.
